Bahman is an Environmental Professional (EP) the founder and Strategic Planning Director of BA Environmental Services Group. With over 20 years of experience and extensive project management and business analyst skills, he worked as a consultant for clients in public and private sectors. He is an expert in conducting environmental projects; Phase I, II & III environmental site investigation and remediation in accordance with Canadian Standards Association (CSA) Standards and Ontario Environmental Acts and Regulations. Bahman has solid expertise in environmental compliance such as air quality and atmospheric emissions, water quality and liquid discharge, water and waste management, noise assessment, special materials, environmental fate/audit/risk assessment and natural resources operations leadership.

Monirul Islam has been a fully licensed P.Eng. in Ontario since 2010 and holds an M.A.Sc. in Civil Engineering from the University of Toronto, an M.Eng. (Thesis Option) in Coastal Engineering and Groundwater Modelling from the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT), Thailand as a World Bank Scholar, an M.Sc.Eng. (Water Resources) from the Bangladesh University of Engineering & Tech, and a B.Sc.Eng. (Civil) from the Dhaka University of Engineering & Tech with University Gold Medal awarded by the Honorable Prime Minister of Bangladesh. He has about 50 publications in International Journals and Conference Proceedings and a research-based Technical Book published from the UK and USA. He has been serving as a reviewer for the research papers submitted for the International Journals (Elsevier Science, US Journal of Geography and Journal of Water Science-IWA, UK) and Conferences/Seminars, especially World Water Congresses organized by International Water Association (IWA), International Research Alliance (IRA) Conference, and Climate Change Tech Conference held at McMaster University.
He has been working at the City of Toronto as a Senior Engineer in Transit Review, Toronto Water. Prior to joining the City of Toronto in May 2019, he worked at the Town of Fort Erie as a Senior Project Manager/Project Manager-Engineering and at the City of Hamilton as a Project Manager-Infrastructure Planning & Systems Design. He has vast experience in managing Capital Projects design and construction from initiation to completion, in year and multi-year budgeting for capital projects, procuring consulting and construction services, developing complex RFP & RFQs and tender packages, evaluating submitted proposals & tenders and debriefing proposals, developing Council/Staff reports for hiring consultants, contractors and budget amendments. He has extensive experience in hydraulic and hydrological modeling and managing Class EAs for erosion, drainage, bridge/culvert rehabilitation/replacement, including Master Plan and sub-watershed development projects. He has extensive experience in applying for Regional, Provincial and Federal Grants, including progress and final reporting.
He has long experience in designing municipal infrastructure (Sewers, watermain, roads) and stamping with P.Eng. Seal for IFC and applying for DWWP and ECA to MOECP. He has extensive experience in reviewing infrastructure plan and design for consistency and accuracy and authorizing, including Class EA reports, Sub-watershed reports and ECA applications submitted by the consultants.
